The deposit represents original materials from my lifelong polar explorations career, from the first expedition across Greenland in 1986 and up to the recent one across Ellesmere Island in 2025. The deposit consists of both photo and video material. Some of the materials are from a vanishing world, the multiyear drift ice of the Arctic Ocean being one example, but also the outline and characteristics of the many icefields I have crossed, which changes rapidly as climate change advances.
