Published November 12, 2024

Dear AWA supporters

We’re excited to share the latest news from the Arctic World Archive (AWA), where the past and future come together in a really special way.

We recently gathered in beautiful Svalbard for the AWA 2024 Deposit Ceremony. This ceremony brought together passionate depositors from around the world who wanted to store their invaluable data in our secure vault.

During the ceremony, each depositor shared their meaningful stories, highlighting the importance of protecting our cultural, historical, and intellectual heritage.
