Pisa University deposited manuscripts including those of the Egyptologist Ippolito Rosellini, which still constitute an indispensable tool for scholars of Egyptology and several manuscripts from the sixteenth century Pisan Botanical Garden containing precious watercolor plates with drawings of flowers, plants, animals and prospects of gardens.
